I live with my parents, Sh. Sukhwinder Singh Sodhiand Satinderjit Kaur Sodhi and my younger brother Kanwalinder Singh sodhi(Matia)

My mother is a Govt. Lecturer in Economics and my father is a bank manager with Punjab & Sind Bank in Patiala. And my brother has just moved to the Tenth standard in Our Lady Of Latima Convent High School, Patiala.

We trace our roots to the Fourth Guru Of The Sikhs, Shri Guru Amar Das Ji! My ancestral village is Kapial in Sangrur Ditt. in Punjab.

My grandfather were Late S. Lachhman Singh Sodhi and my grandmother were Late Jamuna Devi.We have a farm in our native village kapial though no one of us is actively involved in agriculture. They had four dutiful sons and two daughters, of which my father were the youngest.

The eldest child in the family is my Bhuaji(father's sister). A widow she is the proud mother of two girls, Happy didi and Rimpy didi, and two boys, Mintu and Dimple.She retired as a teacher in the local govt. high school in Bhawani Garh. Happy didi and rimpy didi both happily married to Sh. Manjeet Singh Sodhi and Sh. Harjeet Singh Chandok, respectively. Happy and manjeet jijaji are the proud parents of Sebby and Nancy while Rimpy didi has her own bundle of joy in Gurasees. Manjeet Jijaji has a successful property dealer business and Harjeet jijaji is Astt. XEN in Punjab State elecricity Board at Bhathinda with Rimpy didi working as a teacher in a prestigious school in bhathinda and happy didi is a housewife. Mintu Veerji is happily married to Neelam. Mintu is currently working in the Life Insurance Corporation of India and Bhabhiji has just got a job as a teacher in a local convent school at Bhawani Garh. Dimple is running a successful sports and stationary goods shop

Next one are S. Jagjivan Singh Sodhi. He has retired as Head Clerk in the district court. Tayaji and tayiji,Shailbala Sodhi, have three sons of which the eldest one Vicky is married to Promila and is a proud father of a boy,Manu and a girl, Nona. the other two are Honey and the youngest one Bobby.And tayiji has also retired as head nurse in the local Govt. Medical hospital at Patiala. Vickey veerji is employed at the Milk Food plant and bhabhiji is employed as a hindi teacher in a govt school. Honey is currently doing a computer diploma and bobby is employed in a construction firm and is now based in Ludhiana.

Next in the line are Pammi Tayaji. He works in a private company. He is happily married to Narinder Tayiji, who is a house wife.They have two children, Pooni Didi and Mickey Veerji, both settled in the US. Didi is happily married to Sh. Narinder Singh Chadda and have just advanced in the category of parents with the birth of Sahiba. Both Narinder jijaji and Mickey Veerji are employed in prestigious computer firms in the US whereas Didi is a housewife.

Next in the line are Amarjeet Singh Sodhi. He is happily married to Pappi Tayiji. They have two girls, Ravneet and Kitty and one boy Chirag.Amari Tayaji is Executive Officer in the Municipal corporation. and tayiji is emplyed as a pharmacist at the local hospital in patiala. Chirag is currently employed in a managerial position in the Mukat Group. Ravneet has completed her BAMS degree in ayurveda where as kitty is waiting for her 10th standard board results.

And last but not the least, my Father.
